Shaping the work.

From rehearsal rooms, to Film & TV sets, charities and arts organisations my approach to shaping work is rooted in anti-oppression, liberation and play.

Whether that be as an intimacy coordinator, associate artist, dramaturg or factiliator, I support building altenative ways of working and being together by holding processes with a commitment to care, respect and cultivating community.

  • Intimacy

Tommy offers bespoke production support (TV, Film, Theatre) and consultation on navigating consent, intimate choreography and intimate content.

As an intimacy coordinator and director, they work through an intersectional lens, passionate about challenging normative representations of intimacy and cultivating intimate content that is bold, nuanced and complex.

  • Creative collaboration

Tommy is brought into projects as a writer, dramaturg, deviser, movement director and space-holder.

Tommy is both an Associate Artist with The PappyShow and Associate Director at National Youth Theatre, with whom they direct large scale devised theatre pieces.

  • Training and workshops

Tommy is an experienced workshop facilitator, director of actors-in-training and an anti-oppression practitioner. They are a lead trainer for NEON’s flagship programme Movement Builders, building more robust social movements.

Their facilitation experience spans a variety of roles from working with Beyond Equality to challenge gender stereotypes to developing community organising workshops with Battersea Arts Centre and leading on Diversity and Inclusion for the NYT.
